Today, we cast the spotlight on Fritz Lange, Co-founder and Co-CEO at 3D Spark GmbH. In this article, Fritz talks about his focus on steering the company's direction, ensuring teamwork, and resource optimization to empower the team, to excel and drive customer value. 1. What is your role on the 3D Spark team?

Fritz  - I am responsible for the medium to long-term planning and direction of the company and for achieving these goals as efficiently as possible. This involves ensuring smooth teamwork and making sure that all resources, especially financial resources, are available for the growth of each member ("Sparkle") and the company as a whole. In other words, my goal is to create a working environment where an increasing number of team members can effectively focus on generating value for our customers.

2. What drew you to 3D Spark/What is the importance of the 3D Spark Platform to you?

Fritz  - I am passionate about efficiency, progress, and sustainability. I love the fact that we can address precisely these topics with 3D Spark and help our customers achieve more. I am driven by the vision that we can leverage these benefits on a global level and thus create a real impact.

3. A feature you look forward to implementing in the 3D Spark platform and why?

Fritz  - For me, there are two features: The Part Request Portal and the Supplier Panel. For the first time, we are creating the opportunity for our customers to exchange data with each other, collaborate, and place orders directly. This opens up completely new application possibilities for our software, which I am looking forward to.

4. What’s the best piece of advice you’ve ever received?

Fritz  - "Chunk it small, but eat it all." The idea is to just get started. At the beginning, the size of the task ahead can seem overwhelming. However, once you've tackled the first small steps, a much clearer picture emerges and things take on a life of their own. If you follow this path to the end, you can achieve incredible things.

5. What are your hobbies?

Fritz  - I take every opportunity to engage in sports. I find joy in many different activities: high-intensity workouts, cycling, bouldering, swimming, hiking, etc. The particular benefit for me is that it gives me a clear mind.
