We are 3D Spark, an award-winning software startup from Hamburg. Founded by three former scientists of the renowned Fraunhofer society, our goal is to maximize the efficiency of industrial manufacturing. Our software automatically identifies and quantifies potential cost and resource savings in manufacturing, especially through the application of 3D printing technologies. This enables industrial companies to make their production more cost-effective, efficient and sustainable.

What you will be working on:
You will develop new AI algorithms and concepts with the aim of enhancing existing features or developing entirely new ones for the 3D Spark Part Screening Platform. Those algorithms are based and trained especially on 3D CAD data, 2D data like images and vector files (technical drawings and other 2D documents), usage statistics etc.
Another area of application for AI is the “teaching” of certain software models to specific customers properties. Furthermore, ML concepts are applied for the continuous improvement of the quality and accuracy of analysis results
generated by the 3D Spark Part Screening Platform.
You will work in an ambitious team together with other top developers at an industrial relevant product.
Work closely with product owners to create market relevant software solutions.

What you bring along:
You have a BS/MS in Software Engineering, Computer Science, or related field or equivalent practical experience.
You have a strong interest and preferably significant experience in ML.
You feel comfortable in agile environments.

At best, you already have experience with Python, Django and backend software architectures.

At best, you already have experience with Vue, JS and other common tools and languages like CSS, WebSockets, etc. .
